This notice has been prepared, in accordance with Turkish Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data ("KVKK"), by Prof. Dr. Ömer Karakoç (Kazım Özalp Mah., Kız Kulesi Sk. No:6, 06700 Çankaya, Ankara) as data controller, to inform you about the processing of your personal data.
2. Personal Data Processed
The following personal data may be processed via our website and our appointment/contact forms:
- Identity information (first name, last name)
- Contact information (phone number, email address)
- Appointment preferences (date, time, appointment type)
- Complaint/health information you share in the form (special-category personal data)
3. Purposes of Processing
Your personal data is processed for the purposes of receiving and managing your appointment requests, communicating with you, answering your questions and planning our healthcare services.
4. Transfer of Data
Our appointment and quick-message forms redirect your request to our contact number via WhatsApp. For this reason, the information you share is transmitted via the infrastructure of WhatsApp (Meta Platforms, Inc.), our messaging service provider. Your data is not shared with third parties except where legally required.
5. Retention Period
Your personal data is retained for the periods stipulated in the relevant legislation and for as long as required by the purpose of processing; at the end of this period it is deleted, destroyed or anonymised.
6. Your Rights Under KVKK
Under Article 11 of KVKK, you have the following rights:
- To learn whether your personal data is being processed
- To request information about it if it has been processed
- To learn the purpose of processing and whether it is used in accordance with that purpose
- To know the third parties to whom it is transferred, domestically or abroad
- To request correction if it has been processed incompletely or incorrectly
- To request its deletion or destruction even if it has been processed in accordance with the law
- To object to a result that is to your detriment arising from analysis of the processed data exclusively by automated systems
- To request compensation for damage suffered as a result of unlawful processing
